Today, the General Assembly of EIM unanimously elected Luc Lallemand, CEO of the Belgian Infrastructure Manager Infrabel, as EIM President. EIM’s General Assembly also elected two EIM Vice-Presidents, Dyan Crowther, CEO of High Speed One (UK) and Alain Quinet, Director-General Delegate of the French Infrastructure Manager SNCF Réseau (FR).
Outgoing EIM Vice-President Lena Erixon (SE) thanked all members and the team of EIM for their confidence in her and the excellent cooperation. She also warmly welcomed Dyan Crowther, Luc Lallemand and Alain Quinet as new EIM Board Members.
Luc Lallemand thanked all the members of EIM by stating that: “I am pleased to be elected as President by all members of EIM. The newly elected European Parliament and European Commission have set an ambitious agenda for Europe and all its stakeholders, giving to EIM a more strategic role. Therefore, we are looking forward to a close and fruitful cooperation with the association and its members so that their voice will be heard in the next years. Only by cooperating in a transparent way, we will be able to seize the opportunities and overcome the challenges ahead. Following this, I am looking forward to continuing the excellent cooperation with EIM’s Board Members, Dyan Crowther of High Speed One (UK), Gorm Frimannslund of Bane NOR (NO) and Alain Quinet of SNCF Réseau (FR).”
The General Assembly endorsed the achievements made in 2019 and the priorities for 2020.
