Today, the General Assembly of EIM unanimously re-elected as Vice-President Dyan Crowther, CEO of High Speed One (UK).
The President of EIM, Gorm Frimannslund, states: “I welcome the re-election of Dyan Crowther of HS1. HS1 is a strategic infrastructure manager between the EU and the UK rail sector. Only together can we achieve a wider European railway market, even across borders and countries. The European Green Deal has triggered a substantial debate about the role of rail to decarbonise the European transport system. To reach this milestone, the commitment of all stakeholders, large or small is needed.”
Dyan Crowther thanked all the members of EIM by stating that: “I welcome the opportunity to continue in the VP role for EIM. I have a good understanding of the challenges small infrastructure managers face and also how we can exploit opportunities. I believe my experience is additive to the Board of EIM and look forward to working with colleagues to drive demand for rail travel and help secure modal shift and support the sustainability agenda.”
The General Assembly endorsed the work done in 2021 and the ambitious work plan for 2022 and beyond.
