EIM, the association of European rail infrastructure managers, highly welcomes the start of the European Year of Skills. This initiative represents a good opportunity to enhance rail industry expertise, address skills shortages and attract new talents.

The European Year of Skills fosters collaboration, promotes specialised knowledge, and encourages talent development within the rail sector. EIM and its members are committed to participating in this initiative to drive positive change and ensure a skilled and resilient rail workforce for a greener European transport sector.

The European Year of Skills also facilitates knowledge sharing and collaboration among rail infrastructure managers. By exchanging between themselves and with other stakeholders,  EIM members can share best practices, learn about innovative approaches, and enhance their operations.
